Unfortunately, in many organizations today, some HR leaders and professionals are not at the forefront of driving strategy, and this much more than a perception issue. It is borne out of the reality that most HR professionals and leaders are unable to literally “speak the language of the business” and engage on strategic issues and priorities at the same wavelength as their other C-Suite colleagues.
